Bitz & Pixelz develops and publishes software for the consumer market. The company was founded in April 2000 by Mark-Jan Harte and Alwin Hoogerdijk and is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
We have two series of products. Our main product line is Collectorz.com, a series of cataloging / home inventory products. Our other product series is B&P Games, which consists of three "casual" games. See below for more details about these products.

Collectorz.com is a series of database programs aimed at home users wishing to catalog their personal collection of CDs, DVDs, book, games, comics, audio or photo files. Each program's user interface and database structure has been specifically designed for the collection type that it catalogs.
The aim of the programs is to let users catalog their collections with a minimum of typing. Items can be added to the database by searching several sources on the internet and downloading data like artist, title and track titles (for CDs) or cast and crew lists (for movies), including the cover images.
Music, Movie and Book Collector are available for Windows and Mac OS X, the other four programs are available for Windows only.
To ensure stability, data quality and coverage, we run our own online CD database, DVD database, video game database and comic database. The databases are built and maintained using data and images submitted by our customers. We employ three full-time database admins to process these submissions.
